I actually decorated the table yesterday and Bill was surprised when he got in from helping at the school. He said that it should stay for a few days so stay it will. It brightens up the whole room.
I started working on my spring smalls a couple of days ago. Yesterday was a busy day, so didn't get any stitching in, but did finish this up the other day. The first
of my spring smalls. I started another cute small with pussy willows on it this morning. I sure do miss going out and finding the real pussy willows every spring and summer. I loved getting a hand full of them and displaying them.
The bluebirds have been around nearly all winter, but we've been seeing them even more the last couple of weeks. They came right up on our window shelf feeder this morning. Unfortunately, I scared them away when I tried to get a picture. I did though get this one yesterday when one sat out front.
Remember all my readers, that the English House Sparrows are mean little critters. They not only sit inside empty birdhouses and wait for any other bird to come along so they can attack it, but they steal other nests. They'll enter a birdhouse and destroy all the eggs. Mean little buggers. We just cleaned out a big patch of vines here as they would nest inside these.
I keep meaning to bring up Pinterest! Oh my! Something else to check out. I look at that site as a way to keep another wishlist going for sure! So many neat things. Recipes. Crafts. Needlework. Home decorating. Collections. Gardening. You name it and it's there! Love that site. You can check my boards out there by going to pinterest.com/MissLindaLee/
Well, it's tax time again, and as I do every year, I put it off time and time again. So I have all the papers here at my desk and my TurboTax program. I also have a hot cup of coffee, and I'm getting the taxes out of the way. I always feel so good once they're done. If you've wondered about using this program. I wondered also and found it so easy. Step by step. Love it, and this is the third year that I've used it.
Need to let you all go for now. Once again.....Have a day full of love and blessings. Oh! Reds and pinks today....Can you feel the colors?

ReplyDeleteWhat a Fantastic post!! Oh! How I LOVE that picture of the bluebird! It is darling! That is the cutest bird I have ever seen. We have two pet birds in our home..a cockatiel and a parakeet..they keep us entertained, along with the bunnyrabbit :)
I too am on Pinterest. It is addicting isn't it!
