Finally Framed!

I had seen this chart several times and always decided against picking it up.  Always seemed that I had enough charts waiting to be kitted up, so I'd talk myself out of this one more time.  Then one trip we made down to Georgia, we had problems with our car.  God got us to Cumming, Georgia, and once there we started making phone calls to see where we could get the car looked at.  The first estimate we got was for $1500.  Holy moly huh? Didn't know what else to do, and when we called them back within an hour or so, they said that they didn't have a proper tool they would need for the job.  LOL. That was a real business too! Bill called another place and when they looked at it, said they could fix it for $750..  Needless to say, we drove it down there, and it's running great to this day.  That was about two years ago.  Before we left Georgia to come back home, I stopped at the needle shop I saw down there that had this chart and picked it up.  This I did for myself.  It will remind me that God is in control and that He will take care of us.  This was stitched in 38 total hours.  I used 16 count hand dyed aida "chalice" by Sassy Fabric.  I love her fabrics! It's stitched over one.  Chart called for 32 count over two, but I wanted something hand dyed so it would show up better.  I was very happy with the results.

  2. Thank yo so much Rita. I need God to poke me every so often to remind me that He is indeed watching over me. The car repair was more like a shove! He's such a hands on dad.

  3. Beautiful! This one is on my wish list too. The framing sets it off and will be a blessing displayed. TFS the pic. :) Cathryn
