First of all! Thank you to all my new followers for visiting and deciding to follow me! I am really enjoying hearing from so many new friends and I too have started following more blogs. "Grow Your Blog" has really led me to so many neat ladies. I do see that some of my followers didn't leave any information about their blogs, and when I go to message them, I'm receiving a message that tells me I have to join the site. Hello......I am a member. So if indeed you are a new follower of mine, I haven't gotten back to you because I'm unable to. Maybe if you send me an email at MissLindaLee@ec.rr.com we can keep in touch that way. Please give it a try as all of you are important to me.
I finished two more scarves. I don't think I've posted a picture of either, but if I have, forgive me please. I am really enjoying doing these up. So many beautiful color combinations, and you know how I love color!
The one on the right is so much prettier in person. Yellows and beige's. The color is called, Sea Oats. I love it.
I've been stitching on the wedding gift for my son. Wedding is in May so this should be done in plenty of time. So far I have 26 and a half hours into it and I'm enjoying the stitch. Yes! I do keep the time on my stitched pieces. Only for me, and often, when I give a stitched piece away I'll write on the back of the frame how many hours of love went into the piece. Here's what I have done so far.
Keep in mind that I'm thinking about and will indeed have a spring giveaway. I'll let you know soon all about it, and until then, just think spring and springy things. This will be a fun one for me to get things together. I love the springtime!
Will let you all my dear friends and followers go this time around. Remember that if you're a new follower, forward your email address to me and let me know who you are so I can get to know you. Until next time, stay safe and warm and last but not least, remember to "feel the colors".

Love the scarves! I made four for Christmas presents last year and they were super easy to make but the recipients thought they had taken weeks to make! What a fab wedding gift your stitching will make...beautiful design.
ReplyDeleteWell thank you Rhona. I was just thinking about the wedding gift last night, and when you come right down to it, the only place I think it would be hung is in a master bedroom. That's okay though. I love working on it.
DeleteYes these scarves can fool those who don't do this type of work for sure. They're so easy and quick.
You have a wonderful day Rhona.
Hello
ReplyDeleteYour scarves are lovely and your stithing is great!
Well thank you Meg and thank you also for stopping in. Have a blessed day girl.
DeleteAren't those scarves fun to stitch up. I received a ruffled scarf for Christmas which got me curious as to how they are made. I have since purchased several balls of yarn in various colours.
ReplyDeleteYour wedding gift looks great.
Yes they certainly are fun Loretta and what great gifts they do make. I love all the colors. Thanks for stopping by Loretta.
DeleteLove the scarves they are beautiful
ReplyDeleteThank you so much Bernice. I was over to your blog and your stitching is gorgeous. Have a wonderful day and thank you for stopping by.
ReplyDeleteThe scarves are really neat, but I especially love the "Good Marriage" wip. I have 2 daughters getting married in the next couple of years, and am thinking this would be perfect for both of them!
ReplyDeleteHi Kay and thank you so much for stopping in. With two daughters getting married within the next two year, I think I can help you out. As soon as I'm finished with the chart, it's yours! What do you think? You just let me know. Come back soon. Do you have a blog also Kay?
DeleteYour scarves are pretty!
ReplyDeleteA good Marriage is coming along nicely!
Well thank you Dani. I'll be traveling over to your blog for a visit. So glad you stopped in.
ReplyDeleteLove the blue scarf, I currently have one on the needles as I type :)
ReplyDeleteThey're so much fun to do up and neat to see the colors start to come together. Love them. Thank you for stopping by Vicky.
DeleteLove your scarves. The colors are lovely.
ReplyDeleteI can knit, but I no longer do cross stitch. My fingers just cramp up too quickly.
I look forward to seeing more of your projects.
I found that if I used the Qsnaps that my hands would cramp also. I use just a hoop now. Thanks for coming by. Have a wonderful week.
DeleteI love the scarves and your marriage piece is coming along nicely.

The scarves are darling. They look very lightweight. Truly an accessory to toss on easy.
ReplyDeleteThe scarves are so pretty! Lovely work. Nice progress on the sampler for your son, too!
ReplyDeleteThank you Siobhan and thank you for stopping in. I just finished yet another scarf and will be posting it here. They're fun to make and just so many pretty colors.
DeleteCome back soon.
I love color, too. And cross-stitching, though I usually stick with smaller projects now -- my patience and eyesight aren't what they used to be. :) I have an aunt and best friend who live in North Carolina. I'm from Mississippi and grew up in the South, but now I am far, far away in another land. :) Wishing you a wonderful weekend. Tammy
ReplyDeleteI like those scarves. I've been eyeing some similar "yarn" at the local yarn shop and just might give in one of these days. :-)
