Amazing!

People that have several stitching projects going at once amaze me.  Seriously! I have day after day where I'm determined to get in some stitching time, but as each day begins to fade I look back and wonder what I did that filled the hours.  Filled them to the point that I never sat in my stitching chair at all!  Yet there are ladies and men both out there in "Stitcherhood" that have not one or two, but several cross stitch pieces being worked on and they seem to make so much progress on each and every one of them! To each of you that do this.  How? I must say that it's people like you that continue to not only amaze me, but inspire me as well.  So keep up the great works and check in on me every now and then.
An up date on the motif I'm working on, on "Quaker Diamonds".  Still enjoying

the colors here, but at times, wonder if  I'll ever get on to a different motif!
I must admit that where I sit and do my stitching is bright and sunny and I have a glass ornament in one of the windows.  On a sunny day, this is what I get to see as I stitch.

I did put down my small needle a few days back and took a short break with some larger needles.  Did up another face/dish cloth with some yarn that I had put away.  These are easy and quick.  Fun for a change.  Looking at this one now,
makes me think of Easter with all the pastel colors!

Now check this out that I just found online.  Can you feel the colors?

I must let you all go this time around.  Thank you for stopping in and thank you once again for inspiring me, all my dear friends and followers.  When I stop in to visit ya'll, I'm impressed and inspired with your ideas and projects on your homes.  The colors you use in so many different ways.  Your gardens and gardening ideas.  Your fun hobbies and your needle works.  Each one of you are so special in so many different ways.  Love you all, and until next time, be well and don't forget to "feel the colors".

  1. Hi Lindalee, How I agree with you about stitchers who are able to work on various projects at the same time. I tried that once and still have a drawer full of half finished designs. I stitch in the evening, during the day there never seems time.

  2. I really like the colors in your Quaker Diamond design and the fabric is perfect. Stitching isn't a race so enjoy the journey.

  3. Hi Miss LindaLee,

I'm visiting from the Grow Your Blog party. It is nice to meet you. You are very talented! I use to do cross-stitch, but over the years I have moved onto other hobbies ... LOL. I plan to look around a bit more and then be on my way to visit the others. I do hope you will stop by for a visit and enter my giveaway. Have a wonderful weekend! Hugs – Donna

  5. I wish I would have known about the grow your blog party... I follow your blog and have for awhile, but always fun to visit and have visits from others.

I am usually a one project gal. But last year I ended up with at least 6 WIP's so this is the year I am working on finishing them all. I am also taking part in a Stitching From Satsh group. There are 130 of total that are only going to stitch from our stash and if we do need to buy something we have a bidget of $25. I think I can handle this.

Always great to isit your blog, your are such a bright ray of light. Have a beautiful Sunday my friend!
