It's All Good

Yes it is all good indeed.  We went out for dinner last night and then did a little browsing in a store or two while we were out.  Had a wonderful dinner, and when we got home, coffee and banana bread was perfect.  I had made the bread yesterday late morning.  First time I had made it in a very long time.  Found I was out of baking powder when I had all the wet ingredients in the bowl, so looked it up, and found it could be made with cream of tartar and baking soda.  Now is that the coolest thing or what.  Two parts soda to one part cream of tartar.  Now here's a picture of the results below.

I also finished up the little "Valentine Bird" that I was stitching and it now has a back on it.  Next step is to stuff it and make a tiny pillow to go with my Valentine display.  Here's a picture of the bird, and yes, the heart button is supposed to be upside down.

This was a quick stitch and easy also.  Took me a total of nine hours.  Thank you again Louise for the chart.

Last of all, Vicki, over at the 2 Bags Full Blog Spot is having a pink scarf program.  All the pink scarves, whether hand made or bought will be going to ladies with breast cancer.  What a wonderful and thoughtful idea.  Thank you Vicki.  So here's the first one that I'm crocheting, and I pray that the lady that winds up with it will be blessed by being cured.  It does seem good to be

crocheting a little again.  It's said that variety is the spice of life, so I'm doing a little bit of this and a little of that!

I'm continuing to get new followers and I thank each one of you for showing an interest in my blog.  I hope to become good friends with you.  I am visiting all my new follower's blogs, but I see some don't have a blog listed.  When I try to contact you with an email, I am told that I need to be a member. Well,,,,,,,I am a member but still can't get to you.  If you want to drop me a line to let me know your email address, please do.  My email is MissLindaLee@ec.rr.com.

The day is beautiful though cold.  The sun is shining brightly and I'm thinking about a nap.... I can remember when I never wanted to nap.  Of course that was way back when the earth was still warm and all!

Please my dear friend and followers.  Stay safe, well and warm until next time.  I love each one of you.  Last but not least, remember to "Feel the colors".

    1. Hi Shari~I've don the Amish Friendship bread myself many times. I really enjoyed doing it, and as it would reach different people, they would add their own twists to it.

    1. Your stitching is absolutely beautiful. You do Hardanger I see. I did some for the first time on a piece I made as a gift. Never knew there was such a thing and had to get into some exploring to find out what it was called and how to do it. I did enjoy it.

Banana bread was a success and I'll have to make another loaf very soon.

Thanks for stopping in and come back soon. Enjoy your weekend.

Thanks for visiting my blog I really appreciate everyone of you. Have a great day. Hugs and Prayers from Your Missouri Friend.

    1. Hi Shirley! Have you tried the new Lipton pyramid shaped tea bags? The Bavarian Wild Berry is so good! I'm a coffee lover myself as well, but I started buying tea in different flavors for my grandson. He loves the Apple Cinnamon and the Peppermint the best.

Thank you so much for stopping in my friend and please visit again soon. Have a wonderful weekend.
