Bill had the surgery on Tuesday and came home yesterday. It's so good to have him home and now he can really relax and just concentrate on healing. Thank you all for all your thoughts and prayers. Thank you Uncle Dave for caring so much and being there for Bill and I. You're such a blessing in our lives. Here's a picture we took right after he was out of surgery and in his room
God is so good and was right beside him through the whole procedure. Thank you Father.
I have a finish! After 32 hours and 15 minutes, "Home of a Needleworker Too" is completed and I loved working on this piece.
Next piece I've just started as a gift and it's called "Accept This Little Trifle From a Friend". A free pattern which I downloaded. Doing it all in one hand dyed color. Will be showing you a picture or two of this, next post.
I happened to be standing over by my kitchen window yesterday, and realized that I have a Hoya in bloom. Such a soft pink. Here it is. How pretty is that? I love it.
The moon the other night was indeed huge, but it was hazy here as well. The pictures didn't come out all that clear but here's one of the better ones.
The wind is picking up and they're predicting rain all night for our area with thunderstorms in the morning. We'll see, but it does feel like it's cooling off some so I think I'm going to get in some wild flowers I dug up today. The rain will be good for them.
To all my sweet friends and followers. Be well and be safe until next post. Love you all. Don't forget to "feel the colors".

ReplyDeleteSo glad to hear that your hubby's surgery went well and hope he recuperates quickly.
Gorgeous Hoya.
It is wet and windy in the norther UK too!
Hope you have a good weekend (:
So glad he is home! I pray his recovery will go smoothly. I like your finish. I have that pattern around here somewhere... :) What fabric did you use? Is it white or off white or something special? It looks so nice!
