Another New Moon

Yes! This is the second new moon of the month and I'm happy to see that there are more snips and bits in my T.U.S.A.L. container.  As I call it, "my snips and bits jar".  You can see some softer colors from "Quaker Diamonds" and some greens and violets and blues from "Language of a Cross Stitcher".  Love both pieces, and here are the results in the jar.

This second picture is what I have completed so far on "Quaker Stitches".  I'm using the colors that the designer calls for and I'm loving the results.  A ways to go yet, but a lot done as well.

Just a quick post for today.  It's still very cold outside, but we have a nice fire going in the wood stove and it's so snugly warm inside.  I'm taking advantage of the light coming through the living room window by stitching in there rather than in my stitching chair.  The couch is a great place to nap besides!

Thank you again to all my new followers.  I'll be touching base with each of you over the next few days.  In the meantime, I'm glad your here.  I love all my dear friends and followers here.  So until next time.....Stay safe, well and warm, and don't forget to "feel the colors".

  2. I have been wondering about all of my friends in the South and East. Our son is in Louisiana and they had ice. Atlanta has been unreal with all of the problems they have from the ice and snow. I have been praying that everything was o.k. with you all. We are waiting to see if we get the snow they are predicting. I love watching your stitching come alive. Take care. Hugs and Prayers from Your Missouri Friend.

    1. Hi Shirley, We did very well here. Schools were closed from Tuesday through Friday, but it wasn't due to the snow we got, but the road conditions. Freezing rain, sleet and then snow covered them. Saturday, the weather warmed up enough to melt all that we had and everything is back to normal again. I can't even to begin imagining what it was like being stuck on the roads in Atlanta or Louisiana. So glad it's all over and thank you so much for your prayers.
Hugs and prayers back to you my dear friend.
