It's that time of year once again. Even here in eastern NC we're seeing some of the late colors of summer and early fall. Even in December and January down here though we have the Camellias to look forward to. For now though, even the wildflowers are still in full bloom.
Lots of fruit from the Prickly Pear Cactus this year.
The Knock Out Roses are blooming still. I have yellow and pink and here's one of the pink ones.
The Passion Vine is amazing this year and more blooms than ever before.
Last but not least. The Spiderwort! I swear that when you put one in, you have another five the next season! I love them and the grow in sun or shade.
I have about half of the Hardanger embroidery done on GiGi and it really is going along quite well. I got in an hour and a half last night and will be able to get more time in today. To be quite honest though, I am looking forward to getting back to something different. Will probably finish up the wedding announcement piece for my son and his sweet lady. Wedding is in May!
Until next post my sweet friends and followers, be safe and well. Stay warm and "feel the colors". Love you!

Linda, the flowers are beautiful. Enjoy them while you can before the colder whether hits them.
ReplyDeleteHi Cynthia. I will for sure. We never know in this area when that first frost will come in. So far so good, but..... Thank you so much for stopping by to visit.

That spiderwort flower is gorgeous. Unfortunately our blooming seasons are just about over, although the trees are starting to turn.
ReplyDeleteHi Sandi Jo! Our season will come to an end soon as well. So far so good but you never know when it will all happen in this area. The Spider wort does fantastic here and multiplies like crazy.
DeleteThanks for stopping in Sandi.
Your gardens are still so lovely... thanks so much for sharing Linda Lee! Sadly, my poor gardens were neglected this year; I am really looking forward to getting well, and "digging" right in when next summer roll around! :-)
