This is my little sewing area. We had a guest bedroom with a full sized bed and all for eight years in this one room. Over the years, we did have guests, but finally decided to turn the room into a den. It's a good sized room, and it turned out real nice. Our grandson, Matthew says it's his room, and what I do, is when he's headed over, I remove my stitchy stuff real quick! It sounds wild I know, but he's autistic and needs a place to call his own here at Nana and Grampa's. Even bought a nice ottoman that opens into a bed for the room for when Matt wants to spend the night. This is my stitching chair though and I love the set up. There is a bright sunny window to the left of the chair, and I have two wonderful lamps as well. The television is within just a few feet from where I sit. I would love to see my followers stitching spots as well. So send me a photo or post one in your comments.
We went to a good sized indoor yard sale this past weekend and I found a sweet cross stitched pillow for spring. Look at the work that went into this and it's a great job. No idea how old it is or who did it, but I'll be removing the back and stuffing and washing the piece. Then add a new back and all. I just love it.
It's supposed to start raining this afternoon and some pretty powerful storms may move in tonight. This will be the last nice day for working outside for a few days, so I'm going to clean out the garden in the front. Even going to remove a couple of roses. I'll make sure I take before and after photos this morning. You should be able to see quite a difference once done.
I'm going to let you go for now my dear followers. Please come back again soon. Until next post, stay safe and well, and don't forget to "feel the colors". Love each and every one of you.
