Warm and Homey Evening

While it's sunny but chilly outside, with the wood stove going nicely, it's warm   and homey inside.  Just had supper and everything is all clean and put away.  Comfort food tonight with a nice meatloaf.  Sat in the living room even and ate while watching an old movie.  Time for PJ's now and some bonding with my needlework.

Do want to remind everyone that tonight before you go to bed, set your clocks back.  So evenings will be dark sooner starting tomorrow night.  Truly soup and stews time of year!

Have had a very productive weekend thus far.  Got a big job taken care of that I had kept putting off, and I'm so happy that it's behind me now.  An eye doctor appointment taken care of and for Bill, a dermatology appointment taken care of also.  More pre cancer spots removed.  All looks great.

Will let you my dear followers go for this evening.  Just basically, wanted to stop in and wish you all a safe, warm and healthy weekend.  Love to each of you, and don't forget to "feel the colors".

  1. I too love this time of year, and getting into hibernation mode :-) I too am just heading to my stitching chair for the evening. All other stitching has been set aside for a while I work on something new to donate for a Silent Auction. There is a benefit in a couple of weeks for my cousin's family... his wife is battling a rare form of breast cancer @ the age of 44. I hope lots of money is raised to help them out! I'd better go get busy...

I hope you enjoy your weekend too, LindaLee!!

    1. Hi Tracey~
Gosh! I think of you so very often and continue to keep you in prayer. Your cousin's wife will be added to my prayer list. Stupid, stupid cancer. Hate it with a passion. We need to find a cure as well as a preventative vaccine to eliminate this awful disease.
Thank you so much for stopping in.

    1. Good morning Myra~
Thanks for stopping in. When you mentioned your "old" mine, I had to chuckle. I have one of those as well and find it a very troublesome thing!
      You have a great week.
